The process of interpreting a chart can be confusing at first because of the variety of factors involved. There is so much to assimilate as one transfers symbols into words. Here are a few guide lines to look for as you begin the storytelling process.
THE THREE INNER LIGHTS: SUN MOON ASCENDANT
An overall review of these three factors will help you to get an immediate feel of the person. What elements, signs, houses, and aspects so they carry.
The Sun tells you about a soul quality that emanates from the person and the goals and aspirations that drive them. The Sun is Fire energy.
The Moon tells you about the inner world and habits that are influencing the individual. Also, the past, the mother, the childhood, and the emotional vibrations. The Moon is Water energy.
The ascendant is the point of identity that is more personal than the Sun. It is personality and character, worn as a mantle or mask. The ascendant can be one of four elements.
OBSERVE THE OVERALL PATTERN OF THE HOUSES
You will notice if the planets seem heavy on one side of the chart or above or below. Look for clusters of planets in certain houses. You will get an immediate feel of the inner and outer character of the person.
BEGIN TO CHART VENUS, MARS, JUPITER, AND SATURN FOR THESE CONSTITUTE THE INNER PLANETS.
These planets are personal and have allot to do with the day to day encounters and feelings one may meet in their life.
CHART THE OUTER PLANETS
These planets connect the person with generational influences and mass consciousness. When one of these planets conjunts a personal planet it is very crucial to understand the influence, for the individual is carrying part of the load of humanity within their soul.
BEGIN TO SEE PICTURES
Allow your imagination to expand as you visualize, in picture form, the life of this person.
