A friend of mine said it perfectly; I had just completed doing an astrological session for her new born daughter when she commented, "I don't know how any one could raise a child without an Instruction Manual" What she was referring to was the natal birth interpretation that she had just received. Aside from the good humor of her comment, I was amused by the statement, and realized how accurate she was. It is one thing to look into the eyes of an innocent baby and see the tenderness of their soul. It is yet another mystery to speculate on the life gifts, challenges, and lessons that are brought forward from other life times, and to what extent that child will manifest and unravel the incarnational potential he or she is offered. The birth chart for a new born, a child, teen, or young adult, can do a tremendous amount to help parents, guardians, or teachers, understand the complex dynamics of the child's life. With greater sensitivity, compassion, and clarity, one can broaden their horizon as to the "work of the soul" of the being, and do their best to furnish him or her with a fertile ground from which to grow.
