Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing: Healing Relationships As each one of us empowers the process of individuation in this fast-paced world, we become increasingly aware of the need to nurture and care for our personal/intimate relationships. As we change, our relationships change. Keeping up with one another’s life cycles can be demanding and challenging, and it is difficult to embrace or keep up with the dynamic changes happening between two people. If you resonate with this life challenge, you are not alone. As we accelerate, our consciousness, habits and patterns must be addressed and changed. These shifts alter our inner life -- calling for clearer, cleaner and more authentic personal life experiences. Many of us are no longer comfortable with the “old ways” as new and stimulating energy rushes in. (These life shifts are more pronounced with certain ages and I have seen many good relationships move through rocky waters during the cycles of age 28 to 31, 38 to 41, and 58 to 61. If you are in the first or third age range, you are experiencing a Saturn Return. Do not despair. There are many rainbows awaiting you. It is a portal of initiation.) There are several aspects and astrological cycles influencing relationships for better or for worse. Do not act in haste. Take the time to realign with the new energies and try to give your relationship a break. I have seen many beautiful relationships saved, altered and renewed when two individuals choose to seek guidance from within. To heal a relationship, we must heal our own selves first. This is essential. Otherwise, we may attract the same situation over and over again, perhaps with a different theme, until we become conscious of what needs healing. Therefore, the first step in a relationship session with me begins by looking into each individual’s birth chart to examine the karmic imprint, challenges, gifts, and needs of each person. Identifying one’s Soul Pattern assists us in finding the areas of life most likely to cause projections and unhappiness, mainly with the intimate partner. Before throwing the baby out with the bath, try these three suggestions as a way to improve the quality of your relationship. 1) Practice the Law of Love. If you love it, it will love you back. 2) Walk your talk. Follow through with your words and commitments. 3) Treat others as you would wish to be treated. If you want a back rub, give one. If you want to be told “I love you,” say it first. Flower essences can assist with this process. Here are three suggested flower essences that will help with this process of love and healing. Inspirations and a Tarot Message: Your monthly tarot message for the month (Each month I will attune to the Inner Child Cards and choose a card for all of us.) Our card for the month of July is “The Child of Swords.” In traditional tarot, this card is known as the Page of Swords. This is the first step toward personal mastery over negative thoughts and patterns. Receptive by nature, the Page is reflective and contemplative. This card, in the Inner Child Cards, is represented by Pinocchio who, as a wooden puppet, goes through the initiations of life in order that he may become flesh and blood like his maker, Gepetto. He yearns to incarnate and walk the path of truth. Remember that all good humans make big mistakes as they struggle to fulfill a destiny. This card offers us a reminder to take a good look in the mirror and assess whether or not we are fulfilling our destiny with maturity and honesty. As we learn to live in truth, the words, “the truth will set you free,” become more and more realized. Inspirations: Have you tried creating a Prayer Pocket lately? Others may prefer to carry the envelope with them in their pocket. Taking the time to create sacred objects really makes a difference in our life because we are putting the intention of our Higher Attunement into form.

Leaving Saturn in Cancer: A Shift in the Collective Paradigm In June of 2003, Saturn entered the sign of Cancer. For two plus years, themes such as fear, safety, security and nurturance have been emphasized. Saturn governs form and foundation, and is the reaper of karmic initiation. While Saturn occupies the sign of Cancer our opportunity for growth resides in the realm of emotion, personal attachment issues, home and family. We search to find greater solidity within the framework of our own needs and the needs of others. In the past two years, humanity has come face to face with a choice to live in fear or to delve into the waters of the soul with the intent to purify and cleanse the past. Politically, economically and ecologically, humanity has been tested as a global family. Are we capable of caring for our global social body or do we starve the inner sanctuary of the World Soul by clinging to material matters, greed and power, ignoring the spiritual core of Love? Those who directed their focus on a new consciousness in the past two years came to understand what it means to “journey home to the soul.” This precious “root” of the soul could not be harmed, destroyed or broken by outside persuasion, only strengthened and refined. With Saturn in Cancer, our Higher Will was tested. Would we fall prey to “old fear” or could we rise up, and clean our own inner house of cobwebs? The decision is still up to us. Saturn in Cancer provides the opportunity to explore the ecology and cosmology of Mother Earth as we invent new ways to address an impending global oil crisis, hunger issues, financial debts, and pollution, to name a few. What can we do? Try these three guidelines before tackling larger and more external issues. First, we must listen to our own conscience regarding world affairs and ask ourselves poignant questions: Do I live in truth each day? Do I live according to my own Higher Values? Secondly, do not rely on others to fix you or the world. Do what you can do ... and do it with the conviction of Love. Thirdly, take a stand. Use your voice. Write. Read. Learn. Share your ideas with others and begin new projects that stimulate and inspire others to try new and effective means of communication, healing, energy usage and progressive measures. Believe in your destiny! You are here for a purpose and you must raise your own torch of liberty and justice to stand up for what you believe. Our global community is rooted on common ground and the problems of the world are the same for everyone, even if some choose to live in denial. As planetary citizens we must meet world issues with intelligent solutions and actions. Do not despair. There is a higher plan. Take care of your physical body as we enter this era of accelerated change and vibrational shift. Take appropriate measures to eat well, sleep and attune to the light. You are indeed a “Child of the Universe.” Your love is needed to heal the collective wound. Heal thyself … and send good energy to everyone and everything. Soon we will enter the next phase of awareness -- Saturn in Leo. Saturn enters the sign of Leo on July 16.
