Welcome to my new website. Creating this website has been a labor of love and I want to thank Karen Forkish at http://forkish.com, and Laura McLain at http://diveindesigns.com for their hard work, support and skill.

I am pleased to announce my ‘Send a Free E-card’ link. You can choose a card from one of the following book/deck sets: Inner Child Cards, Power of Flower Cards, or, The Triple Goddess Tarot. The selection of cards will change periodically, providing you with a variety of images and messages to send to friends, loved ones, etc.

Also, check out the online magazine, Planet Lightworker, now owned and edited by Sandra Sedgebeer. She is a marvel of a worker, a great editor, and she has a keen eye for collaborating good articles with up to date information about progressive subjects around the globe. I have had the opportunity to contribute a series of articles for her new magazine that focuses on the healing properties of Flower Essences and children. Mars is Hot

With record breaking temperatures toasting the globe it is noteworthy to observe the fiery planet Mars as it reaches its closest distance to earth in 60,000 years! Wow! We are all advised to watch the red planet rise each night throughout the month of August until it reaches its crescendo August 27th. Through a relatively minimally magnified telescope one should see quite a spectacular view of the planet’s surface.

Mars rules the ego, the will of the individual, and the warrior archetype. It also represents war, aggressions, impatience, and quick actions. When Mars is out of control it can be quite destructive for an individual. When the power of Mars is skillfully harnessed and disciplined it affectively assists the individual to access their own Higher Will and use it toward productive means.

From the vantage point of the Earth’s perspective, from July 29 through September 27, Mars will be in a retrograde motion. During the spectacle of Mars in the sky, the red planet will appear to be moving backwards. What does this mean in symbolic terms? When a planet is in retrograde, we, the collective, have the opportunity to review the values that are symbolized by a planet and reassess our relationship to it. Good questions to ask ourselves are: How do I use my own will? Do I assert my power for the good of the whole, or do I justify using power as a means for personal gain? Do I speak the truth and seek greater clarity in all I say and do? The Peaceful Warrior archetype is a positive image to visualize.

It is not surprising, with the state of affairs globally, that these questions should arise within each of us, and also within the structure of our current political global affairs.

Mercury Retrograde

Watch for the Mercury retrograde cycle beginning August 28th through September 20th. Tie up loose ends, complete deadlines, clean up old messes, and organize papers and files. Try to avoid making new commitments, signing contracts, or getting married under this influence. If this is unavoidable, become aware of other important and influencing cycles that can support your choices and actions.
