New Year’s 2012, 2013 and 2014: A Time of Immense Evolutionary and Revolutionary Transformation

As Inner Sight/ILE’s Editor in Chief, I have the cool job of reading everything that gets posted to our site. Since the much-anticipated New Year’s 2012 is fast approaching, I’ve decided to share some very relevant and timely highlights from one of Mark Lerner’s recent blogs, “The Three Future Winters of our Discontent: 2012 to 2014.” Please see what he has to say on the subject below:
What you will see in the New Year’s midnight charts for 2012, 2013 and 2014 is the extreme potency of an exceedingly rare Sun-Pluto union in Capricorn. Keep in mind that this configuration already happened before, nearly 250 years ago, in the years 1765 through 1767. What is astounding to realize is that those early years – when the issue of “no taxation without representation” began raging in the 13 colonies that later became the United States (years before the Declaration of Independence) – correspond one Pluto orbit later (about 247+ years) to 2012, 2013, and 2014. These days, we are in a similar rage concerning how the public is to be fairly taxed, and whether the super-rich and corporate elite are paying their fair share of revenues needed by governments to stay solvent.
This time around, however, the world has systems of mass communication, including radios, televisions, satellites, cell phones, the worldwide web, and constant 24/7 local, national and news reporting. The pressures and stresses on us as individuals, as well as on civilization as a whole, are now far more intense than what our ancestors experienced in the 1760s because we are simultaneously aware of what is going on collectively.
Furthermore, Uranus in Aries will square Pluto in Capricorn seven times over the next three years, starting in June, 2012, and ending in March, 2015. These volatile, revolutionary and shocking Uranus-Pluto 90-degree aspects are the mirror reflection of a somewhat similar series that occurred in the early 1930s during a time-period that has become known as The Great Depression.
Between the exceedingly rare alignment of the Sun and Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn, these next several years are a time of immense evolutionary and revolutionary potential, both within and without. There is no doubt of what is occurring. It is left to us to decide its quality and magnitude. May we surf the waves of these planetary cycles wisely and well for the greater good of all.
