I Ching of the Week: Total Creative Power and Freedom (7/2/12)

If you’ve been reading my blogs and other offerings for any length of time at all, you have probably noticed that I really love synchronicities. I think they’re one of the greatest gifts the Universe has to offer us, right up there with unconditional love and the wisdom of the ages. They help us know we’re on the right path, that life is inherently magical and that we’re not alone. Thankfully, something much bigger and wiser and more consistently loving is orchestrating all of this. We have only to listen intently, pay attention to the guidance we receive and dance along to the rhythm of our own heartbeat.

I mention this because, once again, the message from the I Ching synchronistically mirrors information received from another powerful divination tool: astrology, or more specifically, the Full Moon chart for July 3, 2012 (which you can read all about in the New and Full Moon Forecast titled: The Full Moon Heralding A Global Independence Day, at: http://www.ishalerner.com/home/is2/page_37279/full_moon_7312.html).

The I Ching of the Week message is:

22. Cultivating Beauty

You are in a state of grace at this time. Focus on the cultivation of your inner beauty and its expression in your immediate environment. All-pervasive elegance brings pleasure to the heart, clarity to the mind, and tranquility to the soul.

Changing into:

1. Total Creative Power

This is the highest yang energy, the primal directive that propels us into our destinies. Energies are intensely aligned for inspired creativity and forward movement. Persevere, work hard, play to your strengths. Success is assured.

Hexagram #1, Total Creative Power, is associated with a fantastic fireworks display because it celebrates the freedom that comes with unrestrained, yet focused and disciplined, creativity, the ultimate BIG BANG in human terms – the ultimate Independence Day for all of us.
