Susan Christhilf is a professional flower essence consultant and educator, as well as the author of Soul Types: Twelve Paths to Greater Balance Through Flower Essences. She was trained by internationally-recognized essence therapist and author, Isha Lerner, as well as by Steve Johnson and Jane Bell.

Briefly introduced to flower essences in the 1990s, Susan returned to them a decade later as a gentle, holistic approach to her family's healthcare needs. When initial results were successful for mother and son, Susan found the essences worthy of further investigation. In 2003, she formally studied flower essences with Isha Lerner and soon began sharing her new knowledge with interested others. Her client base quickly grew through word of mouth for the depth and breadth of her consultations. Susan typically pairs the client's flower essence reading with an insight reading to better understand the personal relevance behind the essences indicated for use. She believes that essences act as catalysts for personal growth and transformation, and the insight cards provide practical tools to navigate that change.

Now in her eighth year of professional service, Susan continues to study the positive impact of vibrational essences. She is a frequent speaker to professional, religious, and civic organizations and advocates the essences as deceptively simple yet surprisingly sophisticated gifts of nature. In her own words, "Because they address the multiple layers of a person's being, flower essences may easily be a missing link in healthcare, bridging biology, psychology, emotional health and spirituality."

A native Oklahoman, Susan now lives in beautiful northwestern Pennsylvania with her husband, Malcolm, and son, Bryson.
