Summary of Blogs & Features (9/7/11)

It’s been 2 ½ months since we launched our new website on June 24th, 2011, with Jupiter high in the sky conjunct the Midheaven of our launch chart and the ruling planet Moon in Pisces. An auspicious and prophetic launch date, to be sure, full of the promise of Jupiterian higher wisdom and Neptunian mysticism, all held within the nurturing and grounding embrace of the Great Mother Moon, perfectly encapsulating the essential mission of Inner Sight/ILE: the cultivation and practical application of inner knowing.
One of my jobs here at Inner Sight is to read and edit everything that gets posted to our site. This gives me a unique vantage point from which to share my observations about what we’re all about, what we’ve been up to and where we’re going. For example, this week I’ve had the pleasure to read and post the following blogs:
1. A blog by Janet Morrow about the experience of turning 80 and learning to truly celebrate her birthday, and consequent life, through fully facing her life-long, and previously more or less unconscious, sense of shame at being unwanted in utero.
2. The third blog in a series by astrologer, Mark Lerner, on the global investment crisis, at the end of which he concludes that: “secretive and highly-manipulative forces on Earth – combined with very challenging cosmic economic cycles now and over the next several years – do not bode well for a flourishing economy and financial answers to all our prayers.”
3. A blog by Isha Lerner in which she explores the growing understanding that human beings are fundamentally electromagnetic beings rather than biochemical beings. She, therefore, recommends flower essences, which operate at the electromagnetic level, as a healing modality that addresses imbalances at the deepest possible level.
4. A blog in which I explore the notion that there is a very strong correlation between emotional intensity, emotional intelligence and inner knowing.
5. A blog by Doug Wilson describing a recent intensive with psychotherapists, Robert and Diane Masters, in Ashland, Oregon, during which members of the Inner Sight team were helped to become more intimate with their respective childhood trauma, as well as to follow the threads of such trauma into dysfunctional coping patterns in their adult lives.
I would also like to draw your attention to several exciting features in our Astrology section: the ever-popular Cosmic Calendar (with Mark Lerner’s insightful transit information, which so many of you have found to be an extremely helpful tool for making the most of the various astrological cycles from day to day); What’s New 2GO (with the latest news from Mark Lerner at the intersection of astronomy and astrology); Planetary Renaissance (with bi-weekly installments from yours truly on evolutionary cycles playing out in relation to 2012); and the Triple Goddess Moon Report (with bi-weekly installments from Isha and myself on Full Moon and New Moon cycles).
I would also like to point you in the general direction of our ongoing “Of the Week” divination features: Tarot Card of the Week (in the Tarot section); Flower Essence of the Week (in the Flower Essence section); and Hexagram of the Week (in the I Ching section). In these features we share weekly readings for humanity as a whole from our various Tarot book/deck sets, the Power of Flowers book/deck set and our web-based I Ching applications (iChing 2GO, teenChing 2GO and loveChing 2GO).

There’s so much going on in our world today, and so much information to sift through, all coming at us at a dizzying pace. Having ready access to our inner knowing helps us separate the wheat from the chaff. Toward that end, we offer you all of the above.
