Isha is an internationally-acclaimed astrologer, best known for her groundbreaking work related to karmic imprints and past-life astrology (Power Mapping). She is also highly-regarded for her expertise in Flower Essence healing and Tarot interpretation.
Unlike many eighty-plus year olds Janet has remained consciously committed to her reflective way of discovering and embracing her true self. She’s done this through deep reflection on all she has learned from her life experiences in what she has come to call “this school called life”.
Her 20/20 vision of hindsight has first, led her to change her perspective on virtually everything and second, the conclusion that this process has helped her become more attuned with her spiritual self. All this has shown her that she is a spiritual being having a human experience rather than the other way around.
Changing her identity this way has made a huge difference in how she is now living and facing her own pending transition possibly from the two malignant brain tumors that were first diagnosed in 2010.
It was then she was called to begin sharing her story in blog form and, given her growing limitations, is now sharing them through her podcasts with friends. Her prayer is that through all these personal stories her journey might inspire and motivate others to find their true selves as well.

How Our Projections Create Our World (11/26/13)
A new moon teaches gradualness and deliberation and how one gives birth to oneself slowly. Patience with small details makes perfect a large work, like the universe. ~Rumi
All is dark and still....but there is a sense of expectancy within that darkness, a stirring, a striving energy and growth; the forming of a tiny but brightly burning point of light.
December can be considered a challenging month for humanity for the
following good reason: The lofty idealism of Solar Sagittarius at the
onset becomes either the valued manifestation or harsh reality of
Capricorn Sun as the year reaches its conclusion. December 2013 has some
of the same quirky surprises of the December from 2012. If you
remember, a large percentage of our species wondered if the so-called
end of the Mayan Calendar . . . .
“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” ~Buddha
In their past two conversations, Janet and Dr. Travis have discussed projection and how it operates within all of us personally. In this continuation, they extend their focus to the ways our unconscious behaviors are reflected in our collective behaviors which are omnipresent manifestations of our universal human nature. Janet speculates as to whether, in doing their own explorations in this regard, they may be part of new ways of thinking, of living, of being and how these might also be recognized in collective actions.
theme “healing through crisis” describes the essence of this New Moon. We can
either choose to live beyond the illusions that perpetuate confusion in our
life, or choose New Vision, Truth, and Health. The dissonance of societal
illusion disrupts the flow of our clarity, and in turn, creates stress,
fatigue, lack of vision, and melancholy within the soul force. Therefore, we
can ride the wave of goodwill that is available through this New Moon, and take
another step toward embodiment at this crucial juncture in time.
Addictions and the Ultimate Cure
with JMichael Fields of Inspirations
In a BBC documentary on addictions last year (2012) they came to some wonderful conclusions. They examined with Brian Cox hosting (Theatre and Film Actor) the addictions to sugar, opium, alcohol and tobacco. It showed that addiction was inevitable as the desire and want part of the brain can never be satisfied because the fulfilment part of the brain doesn't register it.
The following excerpt is from Isha Lerner’s book: Power of Flowers.
“It is good to know our universe. What is new is only new to us.” ~ Pearl S. Buck
Through the ages, shamans, priests and
priestesses, medicine women and men, herbal alchemists, botanists and holy
people from all walks of life have sought a clearer understanding of the
natural world around them. They have
listened reverently to the voice of Nature approaching Her as one approaches a
beloved consort. In turn, through Her trees, flowers, seeds, leaves,
fruits, and berries She has offered the knowledge of healing . . . .
In 1990, while in the midst of writing Inner Child Cards: A Fairy Tale Tarot, I found myself cleaning the attic of my childhood home after my mother had passed away. In an old box of saved treasures, I discovered a book entitled The Very Tall Book of Fairy Tales. As a child, I had loved this book that my great-aunt had sent to me from England, and I had marked the tales that were my favorites with a check mark. Later in life, I had experienced the healing effect of researching and gaining new understanding about the deeper meaning of those tales that had touched my heart and soul as a child.
